This is our broadest living style. This is because modern blends easily: a sleek piece of furniture fits in almost any interior, as long as the size is right.

Materials and colors

You have a lot to choose from here. From warm oak to cool ceramic, from concrete look to a matte Fenix finish that does not hold fingerprints.

In color, contrast works well: a light top on a black base, or a dark top with a wooden leg. View the ceramic dining tables and melamine dining tables if you are looking for ease of maintenance.

Choosing a shape that suits your space

A rectangular dining table makes the best use of an elongated room and offers the most places per meter. In a narrow space, a rounded corner makes just that little bit of difference for flow.

If you have a square room, a round dining table keeps the conversation close. If you are unsure, the Danish oval shape is a safe middle ground.

Combining with other living styles
